This gallery opens with Alexandru \u201dDudu\u201d Frim, graduate of 1930 (photo up, in the plane). He functioned as engineer test pilot at IAR Bra\u0219ov. Although he was no military pilot, he holds an air victory against a B-17 bomber in the \u201dTidal Wave\u201d operation. He was gifted for sports, winning the World Bobsleigh Championship two team in 1934 at Engelberg, Switzerland, with team mate Vasile Dumitrescu.
