UPB Faculty of Aerospace Engineering has a tradition of participating in student contests in the fields of aeronautics and astronautics. We encourage the current students to engage in these activities.<\/p>\n

All students who want to participate in student competitions as students of UPB-FAE are asked to announce their intention at inginerie.aerospatiala@upb.ro before registering.<\/p>\n

This is necessary to avoid parallelisms and inter-blocking of student registration in official faculty teams. Some contests do not accept more teams from a university \/ faculty. Some do, but the logistic effort of the faculty to send two teams exceeds capacity, and sponsors are surprised by multiple overlapping sponsorship requests. In such situations, the faculty should organize an internal competition between teams or between students and to send the best positioned team or the team made of those students with the highest chances to win the competition.<\/p>\n

Therefore, if there are more teams aiming at the same competition, they will present an activity plan for that participation and the rules of the competition. The Faculty management will appoint a committee to analyze the proposals and will select the team which will represent the faculty.<\/p>\n

All sponsorship applications made by UPB-FAE students should be approved by the Faculty Executive Board (BEF). For every received sponsorship, the students should present a report to justify the use of the resources obtained by sponsorship. This will be presented to both the respective sponsor, and the BEF.<\/p>\n

The prestigious student contests which have a registration deadline soon are the following:<\/p>\n

AUVSI-SUAS 2020<\/a> \u2013 location: Patuxent, MD, USA, June 2020. Deadline: 1 November 2019, participation fee 1500 USD<\/p>\n

NEW FLYING COMPETITION 2020<\/a> \u2013 location: Hamburg, Germany, Sept. 2020. Deadline: 31 October 2019, participation fee 1000 EUR<\/p>\n

AIAA Design, Build, Fly<\/a> \u2013 location: Whichita, KS, USA, aprilie 2020. Deadline: 31 Octomber 2019, participation fee N\/A<\/p>\n

In the same time we congratulate the students who will participate in Competion REXUS<\/a> organized by the European Space Agency and we offer to them our support.<\/p>\n

UPB Facultatea de Inginerie Aerospa\u021bial\u0103 are o tradi\u021bie de participare la concursurile studen\u021be\u0219ti interna\u021bionale din domeniul aeronautic \u0219i astronautic. \u00cei \u00eencuraj\u0103m \u0219i pe studen\u021bii actuali s\u0103 se implice \u00een aceste activit\u0103\u021bi.<\/p>

Toti studen\u021bii care vor s\u0103 participe la concursuri studen\u021be\u0219ti, \u00een calitate de reprezentan\u021bi ai UPB-FIA \u00ee\u0219i vor anun\u021ba inten\u021bia printr-un mesaj c\u0103tre inginerie.aerospatiala@upb.ro \u00eenainte de \u00eenscrierea \u00een concurs. Acest lucru este necesar pentru a evita unele paralelisme \u0219i interbloc\u0103ri ale \u00eenregistr\u0103rii studen\u021bilor \u00een echipe oficiale ale facult\u0103\u021bii. La unele concursuri, o universitate\/facultate nu-\u0219i poate trimite mai mult de o echip\u0103. La altele acest lucru este permis, \u00eens\u0103 efortul logistic necesar de a trimite dou\u0103 echipe dep\u0103\u0219e\u0219te capacitatea facult\u0103\u021bii, iar sponsorii sunt lua\u021bi prin suprindere de cereri de sponsorizare multiple. Ar fi bine \u00een astfel de cazuri ca facultatea s\u0103 organizeze o competi\u021bie intern\u0103 \u00eentre echipele participante sau \u00eentre studen\u021bi \u0219i s\u0103 trimitem echipa cea mai bine clasat\u0103 sau echipa format\u0103 din studen\u021bii care demonstreaz\u0103 c\u0103 au cele mai mari \u0219anse la c\u00e2\u0219tigarea concursului.<\/p>

De aceea, dac\u0103 sunt mai multe echipe care vor s\u0103 participe la acela\u0219i concurs, acestea au obliga\u021bia s\u0103 ata\u0219eze \u0219i un plan de activit\u0103\u021bi pentru concursul respectiv \u0219i regulamentul concursului. Conducerea facult\u0103\u021bii va numi o comisie care s\u0103 analizeze propunerile \u0219i va selecta echipa ce va reprezenta facultatea.<\/p>

Toate cererile de sponsorizare f\u0103cute de studen\u021bi ai UPB-FIA trebuie aprobate de Biroul Executiv al Facult\u0103\u021bii (BEF). Pentru orice sponsorizare ob\u021binut\u0103, va trebui \u00eentocmit un referat de justificare a utiliz\u0103rii resurselor ob\u021binute prin sponsorizare. Acesta va fi transmis at\u00e2t sponsorului, c\u00e2t \u0219i BEF.<\/p>

Concursurile studen\u021be\u0219ti de prestigiu care au termenul limit\u0103 de inscriere \u00een cur\u00e2nd sunt urm\u0103toarele:<\/p>
