The 8th Edition of the Air Navigation Convention 2017 International Conference was hosted by the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the University Politehnica of Bucharest on 23-24 March 2017.<\/p>\n

The event was organized with the UPB-FAE students in the Radu Voinea AN010 amphiteatre. The opening speech was addressed by Prorerctor Prof. dr. ing. Tudor Prisecaru<\/strong>\u00a0and Dean Conf. dr. ing. Octavian Thor Pleter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Air Navigation and Air Transport Engineering program students and alumni participated, and also experts and managers of international organizations (ICAO, Eurocontrol) and companies for the United Kingdom, United States, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria.<\/p>\n

The 8th Edition had as guests of honour captain pilots Andreea Li\u021bescu<\/strong>, Dan \u0218tef\u0103nescu<\/strong>, C\u0103t\u0103lin Prunariu<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Valer Novac<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Eng. Peter Stastny<\/strong> (ATM Consultants) and Eng. R\u0103zvan M\u0103rg\u0103uan<\/strong>\u00a0(EUROCONTROL) were the laureates of the Air Navigation Award 2017.<\/p>\n

Agenda Air Navigation Convention 2017<\/a><\/p>\n

The participants at the Air Navigation Convention 2017 got a list with the jobs of the first series of graduates of Air Navigation and Air Transport Engineering. Many of these graduates made the effort to participate, although they work abroad: Eng.\u00a0Mihai Lulea<\/strong> (NATS, UK), Eng.\u00a0Yvonne Zanoun<\/strong> (Snowflake, UK), Eng. Francesca Popescu<\/strong> (Aeroconseil, France), Eng.\u00a0Eliza Pal<\/strong> (Airbus Helicopters Deutschland, Germany), Eng.\u00a0Mihai Ogic\u0103<\/strong>\u00a0and Eng.\u00a0Gabriela B\u00eersan<\/strong> (Think Research, UK) a.o.<\/p>\n

Among the graduates who work in Romania, we noticed Eng. Andrei Dobre<\/strong>, Deputy Safety Director with Blue Air, Eng. Georgiana Ursachi<\/strong>, ROMATSA, Eng. Alexandru Ignat<\/strong>, Eng. Evenimentul a fost organizat cu sprijinul studen\u021bilor UPB-FIA \u00een amfiteatrul AN010 Radu Voinea. Cuv\u00e2ntul de deschidere l-a adresat dl. Prorerctor Prof. dr. ing. Tudor Prisecaru<\/strong> \u0219i Decan Conf. dr. ing. Octavian Thor Pleter<\/strong>.<\/p>
