S-a remarcat ca un prolific inventator, pilot, pionier al avia\u021biei mondiale, apreciat \u0219i \u00eencurajat \u00een ini\u021biativele sale de C. I. Istrati \u0219i Spiru Haret.<\/p>\n<p>Brum\u0103rescu a fost un vizionar \u0219i, pentru a-\u0219i atinge numeroasele obiective, a \u00eenceput s\u0103 sculpteze \u00een lemn \u0219i s\u0103-\u0219i v\u00e2nd\u0103 produsele. Ca rezultat al pasiunii sale pentru lemn, Tache a devenit \u00een 1903 fondatorul &#8222;primei \u0219coli rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti de fabricare a juc\u0103riilor mecanice din lemn&#8221; . Aceasta a fost doar \u00eenceputul marii sale cariere.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen timpul vie\u021bii sale, Tache Brum\u0103rescu a avut \u00een jur de 150 de inven\u021bii. \u00cen 1904, ca \u0219i \u00een 1906, particip\u0103 la Expozi\u021biile Rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti Generale, unde a ob\u021binut medalii de argint \u0219i de aur pentru una dintre cele mai bune inven\u021bii, un avion original cu decolare verticala. Originalitatea sa sa bazat pe cele trei elice, dintre care una propulsive, iar celelalte dou\u0103 tractive.<\/p>\n<p>Dup\u0103 o perioad\u0103 scurt\u0103 de timp, Brum\u0103rescu a ob\u021binut licen\u021ba de pilot la Juvissy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tinypic.com?ref=xlht8w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i64.tinypic.com\/xlht8w.png\" alt=\"Image and video hosting by TinyPic\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Columba 1909 Columba este numele unei aeronave proiectate \u0219i fabricate de Dumitru Brum\u0103rescu. Inven\u021bia numit\u0103 &#8222;Aeroplan Brumarescu&#8221; a fost original\u0103 \u0219i a avut elemente interesante ob\u021bin\u00e2nd brevetul rom\u00e2nesc nr. 1844. Brum\u0103rescu a aplicat anumite modific\u0103ri designului s\u0103u pentru a simplifica controalele \u0219i ca rezultat a ob\u021binut un nou brevet nr. 2218 \u00een data de 10 octombrie 1909. Un model la subscala a fost expus \u00een Parcul Carol, Bucure\u0219ti \u0219i apoi la cea de-a doua Expozi\u021bie Mondial\u0103 a Locomo\u021biei Aeriene desf\u0103\u0219urat\u0103 la Paris. El a f\u0103cut o cerere oficial\u0103 Ministerului de R\u0103zboi pentru a str\u00e2nge bani pentru inven\u021bia sa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Columba era foarte asem\u0103n\u0103tor unui porumbel, dac\u0103 lu\u0103m \u00een considerare planul. Columba a fost testat la 27 mai 1911 \u00een c\u00e2mpul Cotroceni. Edi\u021bia din 1911 a revistei Automobile a relatat despre eveniment dup\u0103 cum urmeaz\u0103: &#8222;s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2na trecut\u0103, Dumitru Brum\u0103rescu, inventatorul \u0219i constructorul celui de-al doilea avion rom\u00e2nesc, a f\u0103cut un prim zbor \u00een avionul s\u0103u, la Cotroceni. A acoperit o distan\u021ba de 80 m zbur\u00e2nd la 2,00 m deasupra solului termin\u00e2ndu-se totul \u00eentr-un accident de mas\u0103 regretabil, din fericire f\u0103r\u0103 consecin\u021be serioase. Din cauz\u0103 ca nu a fost bine fixat si manevrele incerte \u0219i neexperimentate ale pilotului, avionul s-a \u00eenclinat spre stanga au dup\u0103 primele 20 de metri de zbor. D. Brum\u0103rescu nu era foarte familiarizat cu controlul \u0219i alpinismul \u00een avion \u0219i mai mult peste el nu a putut s\u0103-l \u00eendrepte \u0219i s\u0103 loveasc\u0103 ni\u0219te copaci. Acest fapt a avariat avionul, dar Dumitru Brum\u0103rescu a fost norocos s\u0103 scape cu r\u0103ni mici. At\u00e2t pilotul, c\u00e2t \u0219i avionul au fost recuperate pe deplin dup\u0103 aceast\u0103 prim\u0103 \u00eencercare nefericit\u0103. Din cauza lipsei de fonduri, Brum\u0103rescu a abandonat activitatea \u00een domeniu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00cen realitate, nu avea cuno\u0219tin\u021be \u0219i experien\u021b\u0103 \u00een domeniul aeronautic, dar \u0219i-a folosit intui\u021bia \u0219i informa\u021biile care circul\u0103 \u00een ziarele timpului pentru a-\u0219i realiza proiectul, rezultatul fiind un plan complet diferit fa\u021b\u0103 de cele construite anterior. Avionul a fost fabricat din lemn de frasin, iar fe\u021bele sale de ridicare au fost acoperite cu o c\u00e2rp\u0103 de cauciuc. A fost \u00eencorporat un mecanism inteligent: o elice dispus\u0103 orizontal pe partea din fa\u021b\u0103 a planului care a ajutat la scurtarea distan\u021bei de decolare ar putea fi operat\u0103 la alegerea pilotului. La direc\u021bia fuselajului din fa\u021b\u0103 s-au montat o direc\u021bie de ac\u021bionare \u0219i un proiector de trac\u021biune, iar pe partea din spate a aripii a fost pozi\u021bionat\u0103 o elice \u00eemping\u0103toare. C\u00e2rma a fost instalat\u0103 pe spate. Echipamentul de aterizare avea amortizoare de o\u021bel. Pentru a men\u021bine aeronava \u00een pozi\u021bie la decolare, Brum\u0103rescu a ales s\u0103 utilizeze dou\u0103 cabluri de o\u021bel ata\u0219ate la dou\u0103 m\u00e2nere fixate \u00een p\u0103m\u00e2nt; ca urmare a cursei de decolare a motorului, cablurile au fost eliberate prin simpla func\u021bionare a unui m\u00e2ner, personalul de la sol nu mai era necesar. Dup\u0103 Primul R\u0103zboi Mondial, Ministerul lucr\u0103rilor publice din Fran\u0163a a scos la concurs realizarea unui dispozitiv de tip cuplaj automat pentru vagoanele de cale ferat\u0103, care s\u0103 fie capabil s\u0103 elimine accidentele care se petreceau \u00een timpul form\u0103rii garniturilor de tren.De\u015fi propunerea lui Brum\u0103rescu s-a aflat printre cele \u015fapte (din 450 propuse) selectate de comisie, acesta nu a avut nici o \u015fans\u0103 deoarece lada cu dispozitivul-machet\u0103 propus, a fost uitat\u0103 \u00een vama portului Marsilia. Acolo i s-a \u015fi pierdut urma, autorul inven\u0163iei neav\u00e2nd bani pentru a-\u015fi \u00eenso\u0163i \u015fi sus\u0163ine propunerea \u00een Fran\u0163a \u015fi nici pentru a o recupera.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen 1912, Brum\u0103rescu s-a \u00eenscris \u015fi a participat la concursul organizat de Guvernul francez pentru inventarea unui mijloc adecvat \u015fi eficient de salvare a echipajelor submarinelor \u00een caz de accident. Inven\u0163ia consta \u00een introducerea \u00eentr-o cabin\u0103 etan\u015f\u0103 a submarinului, a unei b\u0103rci metalice dotat\u0103 corespunz\u0103tor. \u00cen aceasta putea intra echipajul submarinului afectat de accident<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tinypic.com?ref=2550u4i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i63.tinypic.com\/2550u4i.png\" alt=\"Image and video hosting by TinyPic\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Totodata,\u00cen 1925, Brum\u0103rescu a conceput, proiectat \u015fi construit o ma\u015fin\u0103 capabil\u0103 s\u0103 taie automat stuf. Prototipul agregatului a fost testat cu succes pe Lacul Greaca, dar autorit\u0103\u0163ile timpului nu au comandat aparatul.
