Air Navigation Convention – 12th Edition
Aviation Emerging Challenges: Innovation and Coping with Change
As we progress through the ages, we start to realize just how much the world of Aerospace has gone forward since its inception, at the beginning of the 20th century. However, as new times have always arrived with new challenges, it is time to ignite the flame of debate and discuss how Aviation can overcome them.
The Air Navigation Convention Committee is very happy to announce this year’s edition of the Air Navigation Convention, an exciting event which is organized by students, for students, that has reached its 12th iteration.
In perfect harmony with the current state of the industry, the theme we have proposed for 2021 is the following: “Aviation Emerging Challenges: Innovation and Coping with Change”.
The event will be hosted on Zoom and will span three days, between 14th and 16th of April, starting with 16:00 every day, during which the participants will have the opportunity to take part in very interesting panel discussions and watch live presentations on the hottest topics of Aerospace Engineering at the moment, in the company of some of the world’s most coveted experts of Aviation.
Among the subjects which will be discussed, we would like to highlight a few:
- Making Aviation Greener
- Automation & Digitalization
- New Entrants in Aviation
We are proud to have representative from top companies in the field, such as EUROCONTROL, Think Research and Regional Air Support. Moreover, several new speakers have accepted our invitation to join us this year, such as:
- Sebastian Allgaier – ATQP/EBT Manager – Type Rating Examiner for the Boeing 737
- Nils Tavares Schader – Ergonomist/Human Factor Expert – DFS
- Francesca Popescu – AIRBUS – Safety Specialist
- Duane Dupon – The ALOFT Group – Senior Air Traffic Control Expert
We warmly welcome students and experts of the industry to join us in great numbers, as participating in this event will offer you the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers, should you have any question or curiosity on the topics which will be discussed.
Those interested in taking part in the event will also have the chance to update their knowledge with information regarding the latest status and opportunities of the industry, coming from accredited sources.
So, without further ado, we hope to see each other on Zoom in great numbers, starting with 14th of April, in order to discover together the next steps of Aviation. To get registered and receive notifications about the event, please follow the link below:
