Beyond Boundaries: Shaping the Next Frontier in Air Navigation

In a now infamous editorial from October 9th, 1903, the New York Times predicted that it would take humanity one to ten million years to successfully develop a flying machine. The Wright Flyer took to the skies barely two months later. In the 120 years since, aviation professionals have been constantly pushing the boundaries of what is thought possible. Far too much has been achieved to list here, so instead we dare raise the question: what unthought-of breakthroughs await next?

The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the 16th edition of the Air Navigation Convention. True to our motto “by students, for students”, we aim to maintain and improve upon an already well-established tradition of events that bring students and aviation professionals closer.

Discover the newest developments in the industry through the lens of experts from all over Europe and beyond, exchange ideas, expand your perspective, lay the groundwork of your career in the field and much more on the 27th and 28th of March at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest.

This year’s event, themed Beyond Boundaries: Shaping the Next Frontier in Air Navigation, centers on actively expanding current capabilities, transcending existing limitations, and achieving unprecedented advancements in air navigation. Some of the topics which our esteemed speakers will cover include:

  • Advanced Air Traffic Management
  • Digital Twin and Virtual Reality
  • Human Factors in Practice
