Honeywell Romania, POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, together with the School Inspectorate of Bucharest, organize the competition of innovative projects in the field of energy from 17 May to 20 October 2017. The competition is open to both students enrolled in the bachelor, master and doctoral courses in all faculties of POLITEHNICA University in Bucharest, as well as to all high school students of state or private high school institutions all over the country. Participants can sign up for individual or team projects, the number of team members not being limited. The areas in which they can carry out a project are as follows:

  • Energy efficiency (industrial processes, facility management, connected houses, energy passive buildings);
  • New sources of renewable energies (wind, marine, wave, geothermal, photovoltaic, biomass);
  • smart grids, big data, smart metering;
  • Smart cities and mobility (positive energy regions, green mobility, smart cities);
  • Natural gas in the 21st century (power to gas, bio methane, LNG, CNG).  

Awards for students are:

  • 1st Prize – 5500lei
  • 2nd Prize – 4500lei
  • Third prize – 3500lei
  • Mention – 1500lei
